"Drive the Speed Limit"

Every February 7th, Rain or Shine.
Meet at the entrance to Savannas Recreation Area
near the Midway Rd. entrance at 9 a.m.
This is a free event but donations are gratefully accepted via the website, check, or PayPal Giving Fund.
In 2024, February 7th is on a Wednesday.
We will be holding a very large, red, black, and white rectangular Remember for Change sign.
We'll depart the Savannas Recreation Area onto Midway Rd., traveling east. At Indian River Drive we'll turn and travel north going the speed limit of 25 miles an hour, past the Claudia Trewyn Bradley Memorial Marker, circling the Round-About at Citrus, and heading back south on IRD. We'll then turn into Old Fort Park for a short time of group and personal reflection, before continuing with our respective lives.
This event usually lasts no longer than one hour. Personal pickups, motorcycles, cars, and rideshare are all welcome
